I moved to Rexburg in 2011 with the big dream of a college education. Photography became my focus of studies not only because of the love that I always felt for the trade, but also because I knew that one day it would allow me to have my own business. However, I had no idea that my dreams would come true so quickly, or as successfully as they did. At first I started to offer my work just to pay for school, and also to practice for some of my classes, but Now my photography has a voice if its own, and a great need for self-expression through artistry and creativity.

am I trying to show off? absolutely not! I am only trying to reach out to any aspiring student in need of motivation, or perhaps a new client looking to hire a good photographer.

Reaching out beyond the boundaries.
I am very lucky to say that my Photography has taken me to places beyond my city limits. My camera and I have traveled to beautiful places like California, Washington. Las Vegas, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Florida, North Carolina and Washington DC. Now 2015 is off to a running start! In January I found myself flying to Texas to photograph the beautiful wedding featured in today’s blog post, and just a few days later I was back in Idaho taking newborn photos for a sweet baby girl (whose parents I photographed on their own wedding day). Since then I kept myself busy shooting a few engagement sessions, and also doing some freelance work for other public events. School work and all the great fun definitely keep me up until late at night, but I absolutely love every minute of the hard work spent doing what I love; especially now that I am only a couple of semester away from becoming a college graduate.

Practice makes perfect.
Today I am happy to say that I have a portfolio with more than 100 photo sessions, countless weddings, wonderful business relationships, a fully equipped photography business, and best of all, absolutely no college debt. So am I trying to show off? absolutely not! I am only trying to reach out to any aspiring student in need of motivation, or perhaps a new client looking to hire a good photographer. Either way, all I am trying to say is that my great efforts are finally paying off. Who I am in the business today is only the result of passion, hard work, and commitment. Whether you are an aspiring photographer, or a new client excited to hire my services, I just want to tell you that I am here for you whenever you need my help; If I can answer any questions for you please give me a call or send me a message. In case you would like to know more about me, here’s a link to what others are saying about my work, and here’s a link to my contact information.

And that is all for today.
Thank you so much for stopping by and reading today’s blog post. I leave you with some of my favorite shots from my recent Texas wedding. Jaaron and Holli, you guys have no idea how much I appreciate the trust you placed in me. I absolutely loved being part of your special day and I sincerely hope that we get to keep working together in the near future.
